The existing process relied heavily on daily, outdated Excel sheets, leading to delays and high operational costs. Operating under a tight four-month deadline and limited budget, we pivoted from complex dashboard ideas to developing an AI-powered enquiry system (a chatbot).
The final product is a self-service tool that quickly answers supply chain questions, using a modern interface with recommended queries and combining external and internal AI models for analysis. This streamlined approach eliminated manual intervention, directly addressing the distribution of data, and successfully cut the internal reporting time by 50%.
